About LAMTANS Group of Companies
LAMTANS started as separate ideas that happened to share a founding team. Over time, it became clear that the same principle ran through all of them: people come to us with a specific, often stressful problem – a visa deadline, a home that costs too much to heat, a rental that must meet new energy rules, a business that’s outgrown its website – and they want someone who’ll actually solve it, not just talk about solving it.
LAMTANS is more than a name. It stands for Let’s All Move Towards A New Start – a warmer home, a place at a university abroad, a business that finally runs on the right systems, a rental that meets tomorrow’s standards. Every business in the group exists to help someone make that start, properly.
How we got here
Each of our businesses – LAMTANS Engineering, LAMTANS Technology, LAMTANS Consultants and Compliant Lets – was built around a gap our founders kept running into themselves. On the consulting side, that gap was visa processes that were needlessly confusing, with advisors who explained very little and charged a great deal. On the engineering side, it was energy-efficiency upgrades that were routinely oversold and underexplained, leaving homeowners with systems they didn’t fully understand. On the technology side, it was digital agencies that delivered a website, invoiced, and disappeared the moment something needed changing. And for landlords, it was the growing weight of energy rules with no clear, affordable route to meet them. We built LAMTANS Group of Companies to do these things properly, with one shared standard of service.
Give people and businesses access to specialist engineering, technology and consulting expertise without the confusion, upselling, or disappearing-act that so often comes with it. We measure that mission less by revenue and more by whether a client would comfortably recommend us to someone they actually care about.
To be the kind of group that clients return to for a second, unrelated need years later – not because we chased them with marketing, but because the first experience was straightforward enough that they didn’t think twice about coming back.
What we actually believe
A client who understands why we recommended something is a client who trusts the recommendation, and trusts us with the next one.
Each business has its own accreditations, its own tools and its own specialists – nobody at LAMTANS is doing unrelated jobs at once.
Ongoing support is built into how we work, not sold as a separate add-on package.
If a project isn’t a good match for what we do well, we’d rather say so upfront than take the fee and underdeliver.

A message from our founder
LAMTANS was founded on a simple conviction: that every client, whatever the size of their project, deserves specialist expertise delivered with integrity. Our name is our promise – Let’s All Move Towards A New Start.
Today the group spans engineering, technology, visa consultancy and landlord compliance across the United Kingdom, Pakistan and the United States. Each business operates independently, with its own specialists and standards, yet all are held to the same principles: transparent advice, work delivered properly the first time, and support that continues long after the project is complete.
Our ambition is not to be the largest group in our sectors, but the most trusted – the one our clients recommend without hesitation. I invite you to explore our businesses, and to hold us to that standard.
The teams behind the businesses
LAMTANS Engineering’s teams work to PAS 2030, hold MCS certification for solar PV and battery storage, and are TrustMark and Gas Safe registered, with projects planned by a qualified Retrofit Coordinator. LAMTANS Consultants is led by a British Council–registered consultant, supported by our team in Karachi. LAMTANS Technology’s developers build and run the systems the whole group uses every day, before offering them to clients. Compliant Lets draws on the engineering team to deliver every upgrade it plans.
Any business’s team can be reached through our contact page, and we’re always happy to talk through who would be handling your project before you commit to anything.
How we handle things going wrong
Not every engagement goes exactly to plan, and we’d rather be upfront about that than pretend otherwise. If a visa application is refused despite a well-prepared case, if an installation reveals an unexpected structural issue, or if a development project runs into scope changes partway through, we treat that as a conversation to have directly with the client, not a problem to quietly absorb or explain away. Clients tend to trust a company more once they’ve seen how it handles something going wrong, not just how it behaves when everything goes right.
Sustainability and responsibility
Sustainability shows up most obviously in LAMTANS Engineering’s work – insulation, heat pumps, solar and battery storage are inherently about reducing energy use and emissions – and in Compliant Lets, which helps rented homes reach higher energy standards. We apply the same thinking group-wide: LAMTANS Technology builds websites with efficient, lightweight code rather than bloated templates.
Where we’re headed
We’re not trying to be the biggest name in any one of these fields – we’re trying to be the one our existing clients recommend to someone else without hesitating. That means turning down work that isn’t a good fit as readily as we take on work that is, and investing in the people doing the actual work rather than in growing the company for its own sake.
